JOB PURPOSE: This role ensures that the services provided to our clients are timely, complete, documented, and carried out according to related contracts and policies & procedures. The Case Aide/Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) Admin provides focused support for the day-to-day operations of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and enforces the relevant HMIS policies as set forth by the Communities of Care (CoCs).

This position will work closely with case managers in providing comprehensive wrap-around services with tasks associated with serving clients and their families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with the goal of increasing their quality of life and maintaining the highest possible ability to function within the community. Qualifications ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   Conduct attempts to locate clients for initial intake appointments including travel to public facilities that clients are known to frequent Conduct client screening assessments Assist with data entry Accompany case managers during monthly home visits Prepare packets of required documentation to process financial assistance General administrative functions in a timely and accurate manner Conduct client interviews Assist with entering information and maintaining databases Running program errands and assisting walk-in clients Conduct outreach and engagement activities with community partners Communicate with service providers and community stakeholders Run data quality reports to assist in maintaining compliance with client files.

Perform regularly scheduled data audits in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) to ensure compliance with regulations and internal data requirements. Provide technical assistance as needed for internal staff on issues related to HMIS compliance or other applicable federal, state, or local reporting and data collection requirements Perform tasks requested by the Regional Director to meet the HUD HMIS Technical standards and regulatory requirements.

Prepare required reports and generate correspondence as required. Assist staff with HMIS compliance reporting, data quality, and system-wide reporting needs. Understand and assist staff with implementing new HUD HMIS compliance data collection and reporting updates. Other duties as assigned. Demonstrate Exceptional customer service, in Everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran or client first to support our mission to " Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities."                                                                                                                                                           ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or related field, preferred but not required.

  EXPERIENCE: 1+ years of case management experience; 3+ years preferred. 2+ years in a customer service-focused environment. Experience with homeless, low-income, families is a strong plus.   ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.   LIC
