We are now accepting applications for Bell Person here at Basin Harbor. A bell person (or bell attendant) acts as the first point of contact in a hotel, responsible for welcoming guests, assisting with luggage during check-in/out, and escorting them to rooms while providing information about amenities.
They ensure a positive guest experience through attentive service, often handling valet parking, transportation arrangements, and lobby maintenance. Basin Harbor conducts pre-employment criminal background and reference checks on all employees. Requirements Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, welcoming demeanor. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift, carry, or move heavy luggage (often over 25-50 lbs).
Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Logistics: Valid driver's license often required for valet duties. Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
