The Job at a Glance Full-time | Monday–Friday | 2nd shift | Home every night | No weekends Start time: 2:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. Typical shift: 9–10 hours Training: Your first week will be at our Crystal Lake home base terminal, with paid mileage provided. What You’ll Do • Safely operate a tractor-trailer or commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations. • Complete local pickups and deliveries while providing professional, reliable service. • Load, unload, and secure freight as needed.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate records. • Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members. What You Bring • Valid CDL Class A license and at least two years of CDL A driving experience. • Pickup-and-delivery experience is preferred. • Must be at least 23 years old. • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred and must be obtained within three months of hire.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Strong safety mindset, dependable work habits, and professional communication skills. • Ability to meet company driving standards and pass all required screenings, including a drug screen, DOT physical, Functional Employment Physical, and participation in the random drug testing program.
