Job Summary B&A is seeking a Junior Database Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Database Infrastructure Services at any DLA Location.

Anticipated Award: January 2027 Anticipated Start: February 2027 Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 2 Option Years Location Onsite/Hybrid at any one of the following DLA locations: Dayton, OH; Columbus, OH; New Cumberland, PA; and Philadelphia, PA. Additional DLA locations may be available for Non-Key Personnel, including Battle Creek, MI; Fort Belvoir, VA; Ogden, UT; and Richmond, VA.

Alternate worksites may be authorized by the COR based on contract requirements. Responsibilities Experience in DBMS system analysis and programming. Experience in using current DBMS technologies and application design using various database management systems; experience with DBMS internals. Must be capable of providing highly technical expertise and support in the use of DBMS. Must be able to evaluate and recommend available DBMS products to support validated user requirements.  Defines file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications.  Develops, implements, and maintains database backup and recovery procedures for the processing environments and ensures that data integrity, security, and recoverability are built into the DBMS applications.  Education and Experience At least two (2) years progressive experience of database query languages such as Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access.  Also has at least two (2) years hands-on experience and expertise in Relational Database Management Systems.  Experience also shall include capability to work on various operating systems and additional programming languages.

Has experience in at least two projects. Required Certifications Current DoD 8570/8140-approved IAT Level II certification Current applicable Computing Environment (CE) certification from at least one of the following: OCA18, DB2, or MS SQL Server Security Clearance Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility, adjudicated within the last five (5) years More About B&A: Notable Clients B&A has grown to be a company that is trusted by our clients for exceptional service, innovative solutions, and inspired employees.
