What You'll Do In this role, you will: Use proper animal handling techniques while monitoring and reporting animal health concerns. Perform routine animal husbandry duties, including animal movements, regrouping, cage setup, bedding, feed management, and cage sanitation.
Administer vaccinations and complete required documentation. Assist with medication administration as directed by Vet staff. Assist with PM whelp activities. Clean barns, cages, and equipment to support animal welfare and facility standards. Complete assigned tasks efficiently within established labor standards. Communicate animal observations and concerns to supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements What You Bring Required Experience Ability to perform animal husbandry tasks safely and effectively. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Ability to operate equipment safely and responsibly Preferred Qualifications Previous animal care, agricultural, veterinary, kennel, farm, or husbandry experience. Experience working in a physically demanding environment. Experience maintaining records or completing required documentation.

Work Environment This position may require: Frequent animal contact in both indoor and barn environments. Working in varying temperatures. Lifting animals and bedding, reaching into cages, and performing physically demanding cleaning tasks.
Operating tractors, motorized buggies, and other equipment as required. Wearing company-provided lab coats or coveralls and required PPE, including gloves and procedure masks during flu season. Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30 pm Weekend/On-Call Requirements: As necessary Pay Grade: N2 Pay Range: $17.92 - $26.10/hour About Marshall Farms Group, Ltd.
