UVA Imaging is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient imaging team in Charlottesville, VA. This is a great opportunity for an LPN who enjoys direct patient care and wants to work in a fast-paced, collaborative outpatient environment.
Schedule Tuesday- Friday 1 PM – 10:00 PM Full-Time Location UVA Imaging 415 Ray C. Hunt Drive, Suite 1100 Charlottesville, VA 22903 What You'll Do As an LPN, you will support patients throughout their imaging experience and work closely with our technologists and clinical team. Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Experience Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience in a clinical setting.
Education Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program . Licensure & Certification Current LPN license meeting the requirements of the state in which you practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire. Skills & Abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under the direction of an RN or licensed independent practitioner. Ability to assist in managing medical emergencies and/or contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to document patient information accurately and concisely. Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills. Computer Skills Basic proficiency with computer applications and healthcare information systems. Ability to enter, access, and retrieve patient information and other clinical data electronically.
