Machine Operator

Description Nitterhouse Masonry Products, LLC, a producer of block, brick, pavers, and retaining wall block, is looking to immediately fill a Machine Operator role at its Chambersburg location. Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:00 pm Overtime on Fridays as needed Responsibilities: Operate manufacturing machines with basic computer skills Work on concrete production line, pulling defective product and placing finished products on pallets Work with team members to complete daily production goals Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected Ensure that equipment is in proper working order and report any suspected problems to supervisor Inspect product for any quality control issues Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery as needed Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations Clean machine properly as necessary Maintain a clean working environment Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Short term disability Paid holidays Vacation 401(k) + Company match Requirements Willingness and ability to learn the various machines and take instruction from supervisor and other experienced operators Ability to work and communicate well with others Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Dependable, detail-oriented and quality driven Trouble shooting skills a plus Ability to read/write/understand English
