Project Engineer / Drafter

Description This role is perfect for an engineer who combines strong technical skills with excellent communication abilities and enjoys working cross-functionally across the organization. The Project Engineer will coordinate and manage deadlines for customer material requirements. Duties/Responsibilities: Completes cost estimates of materials for customer quotes. Prepares CAD approval drawings (2D) for customers.

Prepares Fabrication work orders for the shop. Supervises progress of development project. Collaborate with engineering team, field installation team, and sales team. Collaborates with the operations team regarding fabrication schedules to meet deadlines. Collaborates with project engineers from other plants to share problems and solutions. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements 2 Years of CAD Experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High Mechanical Aptitude Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline OR highly skilled drafter with experience.

At least 2 years of experience in engineering, CAD. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
