Requirements EXPERIENCE + KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITY (KSA) Expert // Highly skilled with extensive experience; able to handle complex tasks and provide guidance to others. 15+ years of Field and Professional experience varies. Knowledge of field operations, methods, procedures, safety requirements, and environmental considerations associated with civil infrastructure work in outdoor settings. Skills include use of industry-standard tools, equipment, and computer software to perform field tasks, document work, and communicate effectively.

Ability to safely operate required equipment, travel locally, regionally, and interstate, with occasional overnight stays, and perform work in varying weather, terrain, and environmental conditions. RESPONSIBILITIES // Ultimately, the Field Technician is responsible for the success of field operations to support project completion. 1. General // a. Oversee CobbFendley’s warehouse operations, fleet logistics, and equipment inventory within the regional discipline.

b. Lead coordination with project managers and internal teams, including scheduling and coordinating field crews. c. Perform routine and complex assignments without supervision in a lead role and may work independently as a one-person field crew. d. Assist in reviewing daily field reports, project records, and field folders. e. Assist in supervising direct reports by reviewing and approving timesheets and ETO requests, addressing minor disciplinary issues (and escalating more serious cases to Department Manager and/or HR Department), conducting timely and constructive performance evaluations, and monitoring workload and utilization, escalating concerns as needed.

f. Responsible for safely operating equipment. g. Travel locally and out of state, including overnights. h. May operate a variety of vehicles, including large vehicles with or without attached trailers, as needed to support specific operational tasks, and perform routine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient use. i. May cross train to perform other field services (Telecommunications, Survey, SUE).
