Description Zingerman’s Roadhouse is hiring a Roadshow/To-Go Area Floor Leader! Full-time 32 - 35 hours/week Must be able to work at least Four AM (6:30am - 2:30pm) and PM (2pm - 10/11pm) shifts with weekend availability Compensation: $12.00/hour plus tips (Average $22/hour) Success Patterns / Requirements The ideal candidate for this position: Successfully utilizes front of house operating systems using appropriate and available technology Demonstrates a passion for serving all Walk-Up, Roadhouse Park, Drive-Thru, and Phone guests while using the 3 Steps to Giving Great Service and 5 Steps to Handling a Customer Complaint Has experience and success in training and coaching staff members in the moment Has a reputation for excellent relations with all staff Desired Personal Characteristics Servant leadership management style in-line with Zingerman’s Guiding Principles and Statement of Beliefs Passionate about great food, great service, great finance, and great coffee and pastries!

Detail oriented Comfortable following established systems, helping create new systems, or solving problems on the fly, depending on the situation Can handle complexity and paradox High level of interest in learning about food, people, and business Possesses strong interpersonal skills Performance Expectations Essential Functions : Greets all guests and delivers the Zingerman’s Experience to everyone Helps with the SOP drafting process of new systems and leads by example Does all ordering for the shifts they lead in proper timing Speaks knowledgeably about all menu items, including wines and specialty beverages Keeps up-to-date on Roadshow Slack and ZCoB Email Staff performance issues are swiftly written up and PU’s delivered Able to quickly learn (if not already knowledgeable) how to prepare all Roadshow menu items and espresso beverages Leads Roadshow/To-Go area staff in cleaning and maintaining all Roadshow and Front of the House areas, furniture, equipment and fixtures, coordinating with the FOH and BOH on all the above Completes Supervisor Passport within the stated time frames and continues to live the Training Compact.

Actively participates in 1+1 Work Attends the RS Supervisor Meeting, FOH Manager/Supervisor meeting and All-Staff huddle each week in addition to monthly Roadshow meetings and Service Group, when able Consistently writes shift notes in a timely manner after every shift they lead Establishes and maintains good communication and a positive working relationship with the Roadhouse management team and Managing Partner Stays until shift needs are met, effective morning transition to PM Supervisor or coordinated effort with closing Front of the House manager Inspires co-workers and staff to work effectively as a team
