Job Title: Assembler Job Description This role involves assembling, inspecting, and testing products, as well as operating equipment and processing materials and components to meet production schedules and high quality standards. You will work with small components, follow detailed diagrams and instructions, and support continuous improvement in a clean manufacturing environment on a daytime shift.

Responsibilities Assemble products by following diagrams, blueprints, and written and verbal instructions to meet production schedule requirements and quality standards. Inspect parts and finished assemblies to verify they meet specified quality requirements, including working with components under 5 mm (0.197 in) in size. Operate production equipment and tools from set-up through operation, working independently once instructions are provided.

Perform testing and inspection activities, including using microscopes for extended periods to ensure product quality and accuracy. Serve as a subject matter expert in build operations, providing guidance to operators on equipment setup and quality requirement verification. Support manufacturing team leaders and engineers in identifying nonconformances with materials, equipment, and tooling to ensure product quality.

Guide less experienced manufacturing team members to identify known good setups prior to starting builds. Provide input on continuous improvement activities aimed at reducing material scrap and improving yields. Use computers and related systems as needed to perform production, inspection, and documentation tasks. Maintain strong organization of work area, components, and documentation to support efficient production.

Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to clarify instructions, report issues, and support team goals. Follow cleanroom or controlled-environment procedures when required, particularly for medical device assembly tasks. Perform soldering, spot welding, and other specialized assembly techniques as needed for production. Adhere to all safety, quality, and procedural requirements in the manufacturing environment.

Maintain consistent and punctual attendance, including working assigned shifts and required overtime as needed to meet production demands. Essential Skills Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred. Ability to work with very small components, including parts under 5 mm (0.197 in) in size. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain an orderly work area and workflow.

Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and blueprints. Ability to comprehend verbal instructions and communicate effectively verbally. Ability to self-start and work independently while also following directions as required. Ability to work independently from set-up through operation of equipment using diagrams and written instructions.

Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time. Consistent and punctual attendance, with availability to work assigned shifts and required overtime. Basic computer familiarity to support production, inspection, and documentation tasks. High school diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in cleanroom or controlled-environment manufacturing. Experience with medical device assembly processes.

Soldering skills for fine and precision assembly work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Experience with spot welding in a production environment. Experience in production operations within a manufacturing setting. Experience providing guidance or informal leadership to less experienced operators or team members. Familiarity with identifying nonconformances in materials, equipment, and tooling.
