Job Title: Entry-Level Electronic Assembly Technician Job Description Join a clean, climate-controlled electronic manufacturing facility in an entry-level assembly role within the Final Assembly and Thru Hole departments. You will work with circuit boards, small wires, and electronic components, performing detailed checks, assembly, and testing tasks. This position offers consistent weekday hours, hands-on training, and the opportunity to cross-train across multiple assembly areas.

Responsibilities Work in the Final Assembly and Thru Hole Assembly departments to build and assemble electronic products, including circuit boards and small wire assemblies. Follow visual aids, work instructions, and basic blueprints to perform detailed checks on final products to ensure quality and accuracy. Use small hand tools and small power tools, such as crimpers and basic power tools, to complete mechanical and electronic assembly tasks.

Perform thru hole assembly by building thru hole components on circuit boards, with soldering tasks as needed. Conduct basic electronic assembly tasks, including handling small parts and wiring, while maintaining attention to detail and product specifications. Run test fixtures and perform testing on products that have already been assembled in the TEST department, documenting results as required.

Operate or work alongside a pick-and-place JUKI SMT machine in the SMTA (Surface Mount) department, performing basic assembly tasks and moving between workstations as needed. Inspect products in the AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) department, sitting to visually inspect and verify product quality and consistency. Lift up to 20–35 lbs consistently, depending on department, while maintaining safe handling practices.

Stand for the full shift in most departments, adapting to occasional seated roles as assigned. Follow all safety, quality, and production guidelines within a light industrial, electronic manufacturing environment. Participate in coaching and on-the-job training to build skills with hand tools, power tools, and electronic assembly techniques. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and maintain a smooth assembly line workflow.

Complete a minimum 3-month contract assignment, including interviewing and demonstrating reliability and strong work ethic. Essential Skills Minimum of 6+ months of assembly line experience in manufacturing or a similar environment. Hands-on experience using hand tools and small power tools in an industrial or assembly setting. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs consistently and, in some departments, up to approximately 35 lbs on a regular basis.

Ability to stand for a full shift in most departments while maintaining focus and productivity. Basic mechanical assembly skills and comfort working with small parts and components. Attention to detail when performing final checks, testing, and inspection of electronic products. Ability to follow visual aids, simple blueprints, and production instructions accurately. Willingness to interview and commit to at least a 3-month contract assignment.

Reliability and punctuality for a Monday–Friday day-shift schedule. Additional Skills & Qualifications Assembly experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment is preferred. Experience with electronic assembly, including working with circuit boards, small wires, and electronic components, is highly valued. Basic understanding of electronics or electronic repair is a plus. Soldering experience, especially in thru hole assembly, is helpful but not required.

Ability to read blueprints and production documents is preferred. Experience using a tape measure and working with power electronics is beneficial. Familiarity with electronic schematics is a plus.
