Job Title - Avionics Technician Job Description We are seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to support new helicopter completions and retrofit programs. This position involves installing, modifying, and troubleshooting avionics systems on LUH-72, H-125, and H-145 helicopters in a modern, climate-controlled facility. No Tools Required. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians with strong avionics installation and wiring experience who are looking for a long-term role with growth potential.
Responsibilities Install, modify, and troubleshoot aircraft avionics systems for above listed Helicopter Platforms. Perform wiring, harness routing, termination, and integration work Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical data Conduct functional testing and system checks to ensure proper operation Support new aircraft completions and retrofit modification projects Document work completed and maintain quality standards.
Essential Skills Avionics installation and modification experience on aircraft Strong wiring and harness installation experience Ability to troubleshoot avionics systems and components Experience reading wiring diagrams and engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Additional Skills & Qualifications Rotary-wing avionics experience preferred, but not required Experience on LUH-72, H-125, H-145, EC-135, EC-145, UH-60, or AH-64 aircraft is highly desirable STC modification experience is a plus Strong fixed-wing avionics installation experience will also be considered Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment Work Environment Work in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled helicopter completion center supporting new aircraft builds and retrofit programs.
All necessary tools are provided, and you'll work alongside a skilled team of aviation professionals in a clean, professional hangar environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
