Job Title: Boxer Operator Job Description The Boxer Operator works in a food-grade production department and is responsible for safely packaging bulk materials according to established work instructions and standard operating procedures. This role focuses on meeting daily production targets, maintaining accurate documentation, and upholding high standards of safety and housekeeping in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities Package bulk food-grade materials in accordance with all Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Meet daily production levels and output requirements as determined by leadership. Load bulk material into hoppers using a sit-down forklift in a safe and controlled manner. Bag and package material into consistent 50-pound increments, ensuring accuracy and product integrity.

Complete documentation for work orders, material weights, and related production records with attention to detail. Use a sit-down forklift to move full pallets of boxed materials from the production area to the shipping department. Follow all safety requirements and guidelines throughout the shift, including proper use of equipment and PPE. Maintain a clean and organized production area through consistent housekeeping practices.

Work effectively within a manufacturing environment, adhering to food production and food manufacturing standards such as GMP and cGMP. Communicate with team members and leadership regarding production status, issues, and improvement opportunities. Essential Skills Demonstrated experience operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience with documentation and recordkeeping in a manufacturing setting, including work orders and weight logs.

Ability to consistently lift and handle 55-pound materials throughout the shift. Comfort working in a food production and food manufacturing environment. Understanding of and ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Ability to work safely around production machinery and material handling equipment. Attention to detail in packaging, labeling, and documentation.

Reliability in meeting daily production goals and following established procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience working in a food-grade manufacturing or food production environment. Familiarity with bulk material handling processes. Experience working in a fast-paced production setting. Comfort using personal protective equipment such as masks or similar face coverings during the shift.

Available Shift & Pay 2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday - Friday $21 Training with be on 1st shift for up to 6 weeks, 6:00am - 2:30pm Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based on a food-grade manufacturing shop floor with heavy bulk material handling and frequent forklift use. The environment can be dirty, with visible dust on the floor from iron salt, and the area may have a metallic smell similar to pennies that can leave a faint taste in the mouth.
