Job Title: HVAC Brazer / Copper Tube Assembly Technician Job Description This hands-on manufacturing role focuses on building and installing refrigeration and water piping subassemblies used in commercial HVAC equipment. You will cut, bend, fit, and braze copper tubing, install refrigeration components, and ensure that all assemblies meet strict quality and safety standards. The position offers structured training, exposure to industry-leading HVAC products, and clear pathways for career growth within a stable manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities Cut, bend, fit, and braze copper tubing to build refrigeration and water piping assemblies for commercial HVAC equipment. Install refrigeration components, specialty fittings, and related hardware according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, and work instructions to complete assemblies accurately. Perform assembly operations including pressure testing, evacuation, and charging processes as required.

Verify that materials, components, and completed assemblies meet production specifications and quality standards. Use hand tools, power tools, gauges, and lifting equipment safely and effectively during daily tasks. Maintain quality standards by identifying and reporting material, process, or assembly discrepancies in a timely manner. Support production needs across multiple manufacturing areas and assist other departments as required.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety and housekeeping guidelines. Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment while working in a production environment. Essential Skills Previous experience with brazing, welding, soldering, or working with copper tubing (preferred). Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, pipefitting, or mechanical assembly environments.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment in a manufacturing setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a production team. Capability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Comfort working in a manufacturing production environment with frequent physical activity. Visual and hearing capability sufficient to perform quality checks and follow safety requirements. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with HVAC assembly, refrigeration systems, and mechanical assembly. Skill in brazing, soldering, and pipefitting, including the ability to perform pressure tests.

Familiarity with HVAC installation processes and refrigeration piping systems. Willingness to complete a brazing test during the interview process, if required. Interest in cross-training and supporting other manufacturing departments to broaden technical skills. Motivation to develop trade skills that are transferable to HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and industrial maintenance fields. Why Work Here?
