Job Title: Client Engagement Manager/Customer Service Administrator Job Description This role serves as a highly organized, proactive, and commercially aware Client Engagement Manager/Customer Service Administrator responsible for owning assigned customer accounts and supporting the full sales cycle. You will manage customer engagement, order processing, forecasting, reporting, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate execution and timely delivery.
You will combine strong customer service skills with sound commercial judgment, clear communication, and a commitment to both customer satisfaction and business performance while thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Responsibilities Process sales orders from entry through dispatch, maintain an accurate orderbook, track delivery timelines, and ensure complete CRM documentation. Build strong customer relationships, communicate order updates and issues proactively, understand customer needs, and resolve concerns while delivering excellent service.
Partner with Operations, Procurement, and Warehouse teams, develop forecasts and KPIs, analyze account performance, and identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and account growth. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in customer service, account management, sales coordination, or a closely related role. 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and reporting.
Hands-on experience working with ERP systems and CRM systems, particularly Microsoft-based tools. Experience in corporate customer service roles supporting internal or external stakeholders. Experience formulating reports and providing clear updates to teams on findings and performance metrics. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build trusted relationships and manage customer expectations.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of the aerospace or aviation industry is preferred. Experience working with high-end or government customers is advantageous. Bachelor’s or associate degree is preferred. Experience working in manufacturing, government, or other regulated environments is beneficial. Power BI knowledge is considered a plus for advanced reporting and data visualization.
Experience in inside sales or sales support environments is beneficial. Work Environment This role is based on-site during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of either 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. After an initial period of approximately 30–60 days, the position transitions to a hybrid arrangement with three days on-site and two days remote each week.
You will work in a beautiful, modern office in San Antonio as part of a small, tight-knit team that values collaboration, open communication, and mutual support. The environment offers close partnership with business development teams and inside sales account managers, providing strong exposure to the commercial side of the business and long-term growth opportunities. You will report to a sales supervisor and will be equipped with a laptop and potentially a company cell phone to support your responsibilities.
The setting is professional and business-focused, with an emphasis on accuracy, responsiveness, and high-quality customer service in a regulated, process-driven context. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $28.85/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
