Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Kaiser Permanente is seeking experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientists to support laboratory operations at Harbor City Medical Center. What's In It For You Opportunity to work for a leading healthcare organization Potential for contract extension and conversion opportunities Exposure to advanced laboratory instrumentation and testing methodologies Collaborative, team-oriented hospital laboratory environment Competitive pay rate of $55.00-$68.00/hr Responsibilities Perform complex automated and manual laboratory testing Analyze, verify, and report patient test results accurately and timely Conduct testing in at least two laboratory disciplines, including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and/or Blood Bank Perform quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities Troubleshoot instrumentation, testing methodologies, and technical issues Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment Ensure compliance with regulatory and laboratory standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory staff Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records Support continuous improvement initiatives and daily laboratory operations Required Skills Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field Current BLS Certification Experience performing laboratory testing in at least two of the following areas: Chemistry (Abbott Alinity) Hematology (Sysmex XN-3100) Coagulation (Stago STA-R MAX) Urinalysis (Sysmex UN Series) Blood Bank (Ortho Vision SWIFT) Strong knowledge of quality control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and resolve technical issues independently Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Reliable attendance and flexibility to support departmental scheduling needs Work Environment This position works in a fast-paced hospital laboratory supporting a diverse patient population.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $68.00/hr.
