Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming and operating various multi-axis mills, shape cutters, and other CNC machines to produce high-performance aerospace parts for SpaceX. This role focuses on crafting custom components, many of which are unique, rather than mass production. We are seeking candidates with strong expertise in programming and running multi-axis mills, including 5-axis turn, waterjet, plasma table, and direct shape cutters in a job shop environment.
Responsibilities Program and operate CNC machines to produce aerospace parts. Create custom components, focusing on unique, one-off parts. Utilize HAAS Controls for efficient machine operation. Implement advanced programming techniques using MasterCam. Maintain and set up multi-axis CNC machines, including 5, 6, and 7 axis. Ensure precise execution of tasks with high attention to detail. Skills & Qualifications Experience with machines such as HAAS vertical and horizontal centers, Doosan Puma, Matsura VX 1500, OKK HMX, Water Jets, Plasma Cutters, etc.
Capability to work with FANUC or HAAS Controls Proficiency in MasterCam programming. Expertise in 5-axis CNC programming and operation.. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $50.00/hr.
