Job Title: Construction Laborer Job Description The Construction Laborer performs residential and commercial demolition work safely and efficiently, supports daily construction activities, and helps maintain clean, organized job sites. This role involves extensive physical labor, operating hand and power tools, and handling materials and equipment to ensure projects run smoothly and meet safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities Perform residential and commercial demolition work in a safe, controlled, and efficient manner. Sort, handle, and dispose of debris and building materials according to company procedures and job site requirements. Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools to support demolition and general construction tasks. Assist with job site setup, including staging materials, equipment, and tools before work begins.
Support job site cleanup throughout the day and at the end of each shift to maintain a safe and organized environment. Load and unload materials, equipment, and trailers as directed to keep projects moving on schedule. Maintain a clean, organized work area to reduce hazards and improve productivity. Follow all company safety procedures, guidelines, and job site rules at all times. Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to complete assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
Perform general labor duties as needed, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials and equipment. Essential Skills Ability to perform physically demanding general labor tasks for extended periods. Comfort working on construction sites in residential and commercial settings. Ability to safely use basic hand tools such as hammers, pry bars, and screwdrivers. Ability to safely operate common power tools under supervision.
Willingness to follow detailed safety procedures and job site requirements. Reliability and strong work ethic, with a focus on completing tasks efficiently. Entry-level role with no prior experience required, just the ability to perform consistent physical labor. Additional Skills & Qualifications Interest in learning demolition and construction practices on the job. Ability to take direction and work well as part of a crew.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belgrade, MT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
