Job Title: Skilled Laborer Job Description The Skilled Laborer is responsible for executing trenchless pipe rehabilitation work in commercial, industrial, institutional, and municipal environments. This hands-on role involves the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), conducting robotic branch activities, operating inspection equipment, performing pipe cleaning and milling, and installing other pipe rehabilitation systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities Perform trenchless pipe rehabilitation work including CIPP lining, pipe cleaning, descaling, and milling. Assist with liner preparation, wet-out, inversion or pull-in-place installation, curing, and finishing. Operate inspection cameras and related equipment to document pipe conditions before and after rehabilitation. Safely operate tools, pumps, generators, compressors, and other job-specific equipment.
Set up and break down job sites, including hoses, cables, access points, and containment areas. Follow job plans, technical procedures, and direction from crew leads and supervisors. Essential Skills 2+ years of construction experience. Willingness to become OSHA certified. Ability to pass MVR and have reliable transportation. Mechanical aptitude. Troubleshooting skills. Service-oriented attitude.

Work Environment The work environment includes commercial and industrial settings, involving both new builds and pre-existing structures.
The position requires working the first shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with the possibility of 5-10 hours of overtime weekly. Daily reporting to the shop is required, followed by travel to job sites with other technicians. Occasionally, jobs will require 1-2 days of overnight stays, with travel and lodging covered via per diem. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
