Data Center Cable Technician Overview We're looking for motivated Data Center Cable Technicians with at least 6 months of structured cabling experience to support ongoing projects in the Kansas City area. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable data center experience, expand your technical skills, and work alongside seasoned industry professionals. Responsibilities Install, route, dress, and label copper and fiber optic cabling Install cable tray, fiber runner, and structured cabling pathways Terminate and test CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling Perform cable testing and troubleshooting Assist with rack-and-stack installations and network equipment build-outs Follow project drawings, specifications, and installation standards Maintain organized work areas and job site material management Ensure quality workmanship and proper labeling standards throughout installations Required Qualifications Minimum 6 months of structured cabling experience Experience with CAT5/CAT6 cabling installations Experience pulling, dressing, labeling, and terminating cable Familiarity with cable tray installations Experience testing copper and/or fiber cabling Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
