Data Center Technician 📍 Red Oak, TX (On-Site) 💲 $20-$32/hr + Overtime Available 🕒 Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts 📅 4+ Month Contract with Potential for Extension or Permanent Hire Join a Large-Scale Data Center Build Project We are hiring multiple Data Center Technicians to support a major data center construction project in Red Oak, Texas . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading technology infrastructure provider on a high-profile project with significant overtime potential and opportunities for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities Pull and install fiber optic and copper cabling Run, route, dress, and label cables according to project standards Perform rack and stack installations of network and hardware equipment Install and terminate fiber and copper cabling Work with backbone fiber including 144-count and 288-count fiber Install and connect pre-terminated fiber into cassettes Assist with testing and troubleshooting activities Utilize Fluke and OTDR testing equipment (preferred) Follow data center standards, safety procedures, and quality requirements Support large-scale data center construction and infrastructure deployments Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of data center experience Experience with: Fiber optic installation Copper cabling installation Cable pulling and routing Rack and stack activities Cable dressing and labeling Fiber and copper terminations Ability to work in a construction or data center environment Strong attendance and reliability Positive attitude and willingness to learn Team-player mentality with a strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Experience working in large-scale or hyperscale data centers Fiber testing and troubleshooting experience OTDR testing experience Fluke testing experience Lead technician experience Bilingual English/Spanish Schedule Initial Project Phase Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM 12-hour shifts 6-7 days per week Weekend availability required Future Project Phases Day and night shift opportunities may become available Significant overtime available Opportunity to work 72-84 hours per week What We're Looking For Successful candidates will demonstrate: Strong work ethic Reliability and consistent attendance Positive attitude Coachability and growth mindset Ability to work effectively on a team Commitment to quality and safety Project Details 4+ month contract assignment Opportunity for extension based on project needs Potential for direct hire based on performance Immediate openings available Large-scale data center deployment project Work Environment Active construction data center environment Fast-paced and team-oriented atmosphere Safety-focused workplace PPE required Compliance Requirements Drug screening required Random onsite drug testing check required OSHA 10 Certification required Scissor Lift Certification required Benefits Eligible employees may have access to: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Life Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Health Savings Account (HSA) Employee Assistance Program Transportation Benefits Paid Time Off (where applicable) Apply Today This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable data center experience, earn substantial overtime, and contribute to one of the largest infrastructure projects in the region.
