Job Title: Electrical Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to perform inspections, repairs, installations, and maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. The role involves working with E Homes and Power Distribution Centers (PCDs), ensuring compliance with specifications and electrical codes. Responsibilities Conduct inspections, repairs, installations, and maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Perform electrical repairs and installations following electrical codes, manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints. Plan and layout new or renovation projects, ensuring minimal waste. Read, interpret, and understand diagrams or blueprints. Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery. Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.
Connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment. Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment using testing instruments. Test continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety of components. Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit. Receive and complete work orders. Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.
Maintain accurate records on material and labor used. Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean. Work with principals and supervisors to complete projects. Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures. Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting and climbing.
Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately. Essential Skills Experience with electrical, construction, conduit, troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and wiring. Proficiency in conduit bending. Journeyman license required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Compliance and understanding of specifications and drawings. Ability to read, interpret, and understand diagrams or blueprints.

Work Environment The work environment is semi climate-controlled, with a current schedule of 5am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
The normal schedule is expected to be 4 10-hour days. Employees are required to adhere to safety procedures and dress appropriately for a professional setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
