Job Title: HVAC Electrical Test Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled HVAC Electrical Test Technician to test, troubleshoot, and verify the performance of commercial HVAC equipment before shipment. This role is responsible for inspecting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems, conducting functional and safety testing, documenting results, and ensuring all units meet quality and engineering specifications.
Responsibilities Test, troubleshoot, and verify the performance of commercial HVAC equipment. Inspect electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems. Conduct functional and safety testing on HVAC systems. Document testing results and ensure compliance with quality and engineering specifications. Essential Skills Experience in HVAC systems and industrial electrical systems. Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and reading electrical schematics.
Knowledge of HVAC controls and refrigeration systems. Must have one of the following certifications: EPA Universal, EPA 2, or EPA 608. Additional Skills & Qualifications PLC troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of hi pot and LOTO procedures. Mechanical knowledge and assembly experience. Proficiency in root cause failure analysis and using root cause analysis software. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a manufacturing and production facility, where you will utilize multimeters, gauges, leak detectors, and diagnostic equipment. The role requires basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daleville, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.92 - $25.92/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
