Key Responsibilities Install and route electrical wiring in custom-built trailers. Assemble and install breaker panels, lighting systems, outlets, switches, and other electrical components. Assist with the installation of solar power systems, generators, inverters, and battery-powered electrical systems.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to wiring and equipment installations. Complete work according to company quality and safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation and project records. Safely use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. Work closely with fabrication and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures. Required Qualifications 2-4 years of electrical experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of electrical wiring methods and basic electrical theory. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Experience installing electrical devices, circuits, and panels. Basic troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn advanced systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills and positive attitude. Physically capable of lifting, bending, standing, and working in a manufacturing environment. Assets Experience with solar systems, renewable energy, battery storage, or EV technology. Residential wiring experience. Manufacturing or production environment experience. Knowledge of low-voltage systems and control wiring.

Work Environment & Schedule This position is based in a large manufacturing facility where custom trailers are built from the ground up. The work is hands-on, team-oriented, and ideal for electricians who enjoy seeing projects through from start to finish. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chilliwack, BC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
