Job Title: Electromechanical Technician Job Description This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electromechanical production equipment and facility systems in a clean, state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled environment. You will complete initial training on a day shift schedule before transitioning to a second shift role, supporting reliable, safe, and efficient operations across the facility.
Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and maintain safe operation. Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems and electrical control circuits, with a focus on accuracy and speed. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment to identify potential issues before they lead to failures. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and PLC logic to support troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications.
Assist with the installation, assembly, and commissioning of new equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Use hand tools and test equipment to perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on electromechanical systems. Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, parts usage, preventive maintenance activities, and completed work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes, company standards, and best practices during all maintenance activities. Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment reliability, performance, and uptime. Troubleshoot and service AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), sensors, relays, and other control devices. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and recommending corrective actions or process enhancements.
Perform other related duties as needed to support the maintenance department and overall facility operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danboro, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
