Description_ Actively seeking a minimum of ( 2 ) Lead Fiber Technicians and ( 2 ) Fiber/Low Voltage Technicians to support ISP related structured cabling and network installation support within a commercial data center environment. Lead Fiber Technician should have prior leadership experience and lead-positions held, directly related to fiber installation projects. Required experience consists of; running/terminating of fiber optics; testing/troubleshooting of fiber optics; lead technician experience Fiber Technician (Helper) : should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience supporting commercial low voltage and fiber installation projects.
Required experience consists of; running/terminating fiber optic cable, as well as low voltage Cat 6 cable. Fiber testing experience is highly desired Both positions would require a minimum Pay Rate(s): Lead Fiber Technician : $30-40/hr. Fiber Technician (Helper) : $20-28/hr. Location: Omaha, Nebraska Environment: Commercial Data Center / ISP Environment Duration of Contract: Minimum of 3 mo. (with possible extension) Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:30pm) Compliance & Required Certifications: Drug Test (10-panel drug screening) Background Check OSHA 10 Construction Safety Certification MEWP (Lift) Certified ( This can be provided on-site if needed ) [For Lift Cert Only] Other: Dress Code: Must at least have (Steel Toe/Composite Toe Boots) PPE Safety Equipment will be provided to you Skills Install, Installation, Cat6, fiber, Fluke Tester, Low voltage Top Skills Details Install,Installation,Cat6,fiber,Fluke Tester Additional Skills & Qualifications None Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
