This position plays a critical role in ensuring pumps, engines, generators, and related equipment operate safely and efficiently for customer projects in construction, municipal, industrial, and environmental applications. This is a field-based role that requires travel to customer job sites and branch locations throughout the area. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in varying jobsite conditions including Florida heat, rain, mud, and uneven terrain.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel and electric pumping equipment Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, generators, engines, motors, and related equipment Inspect equipment to identify worn or damaged components and recommend repairs Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and service diagrams Install, test, and commission pumping systems at customer sites Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations Travel to customer job sites to perform field service repairs and support Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude while representing the company Required Qualifications Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience repairing or maintaining mechanical equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy equipment components Must provide and maintain personal mechanic hand tools Strong attendance record and dependable work ethic Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following will be highly considered: Diesel engine repair and maintenance Heavy equipment repair Industrial maintenance Pumps and dewatering systems Hydraulic systems Generators Trailers Construction equipment Water treatment equipment Field service work Preventive maintenance programs Electrical troubleshooting and wiring Pump assembly and installation Additional Preferred Qualifications Welding and fabrication experience Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification Knowledge of OSHA safety standards Experience with diagnostic equipment Basic computer skills for service documentation Work Environment First Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Mandatory overtime as business needs require Frequent travel to customer job sites Outdoor field work in varying weather and site conditions Fast-paced environment supporting critical customer operations What's in It for You?
