Job Title: Forklift Operator : Urgent Hiring Pay range: $20 Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to safely move, load, unload, and organize products within a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts, using RF scanners, and supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and material handling equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, and clamp truck.
Safely load, unload, transport, and stack materials throughout the warehouse. Pick and stage orders accurately using forklift equipment. Use RF scanners to track inventory and update warehouse records. Organize inventory, pallets, and storage locations to maintain warehouse efficiency. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including trailer loading and unloading. Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Follow all warehouse safety policies and operating procedures. Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged products. Cross-train on different types of warehouse equipment as needed. Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity goals. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment. Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks.
Knowledge of material handling, loading, unloading, and order picking processes. Experience using RF scanners and inventory tracking systems. Valid driver's license. Comfortable working at heights when operating warehouse equipment. Strong attention to safety and ability to perform equipment inspections. Willingness to learn and operate multiple types of warehouse equipment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse organization. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
