Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description Join our team as a Warehouse Worker where you will play a vital role in our night shift operations, moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. You will be part of a dynamic team with high production goals to meet each hour. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment for moving merchandise. Handle materials manually for six hours of the shift, including walking, cleaning, and other assigned duties.

Utilize warehouse management systems for order selection and inventory control. Perform quality checks and maintain production metrics and standards. Engage in repetitive tasks such as packing products and lifting up to 40 lbs unassisted. Essential Skills Minimum 3-year experience in forklift operation, preferably stand-up forklifts. Experience with stand-up reach trucks and electric powered lifts.

Certification in forklift operation verified through references. Proven track record in distribution and order selection with positive performance and attendance. Experience with warehouse management systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in night shift roles is ideal. Knowledge of packaging, inventory control, RF scanning, picking, packing, pallet jack operation, shipping and receiving.

Operate within smaller warehouse aisles and follow a 3,2,2,3 schedule in a 24/7 operation. Night shift roles offer a differential pay rate. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colonial Heights, VA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.75 - $24.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
