General Production Worker Job Description Join a leading manufacturer of high-performance thermoplastic products in Mayfield, PA. This Production Worker position supports the Compression Molding department and plays a vital role in producing molded plastic sheets. Employees will experience various stages of the manufacturing process, including preparing molds, loading resin materials, and labeling completed products.
Responsibilities Assist in the production of molded plastic sheets in the Compression Molding department. Prepare and clean molds, load resin materials according to work orders. Open and close molds, remove finished products, and label completed materials. Perform visual quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process. Monitor products to ensure they meet specifications. Handle and return unused materials to designated locations.
Maintain accurate product identification and documentation. Essential Skills Strong attention to detail. Good attendance and reliability. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to follow instructions and work orders. Experience using basic hand tools. Ability to perform visual quality inspections. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Safety-conscious mindset.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mayfield, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
