Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process. Your main duties will include sorting, lifting, catching, and packaging tiles while ensuring quality control. You will stack tiles from pallets onto a conveyor, clean the production line when it's not running, and prepare and mix raw materials for ceramic tiles and glazes.
This role involves operating production machinery and performing basic assembly tasks, requiring a strong attention to detail and an interest in advancing to operator roles. Responsibilities Sort, lift, catch, and package tiles while inspecting for quality control. Stack tiles from pallets onto conveyors and clean the production line. Prepare and mix raw materials for ceramic tiles and glazes. Operate production machinery and perform basic assembly tasks.
Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and spraying the line down with a hose. Essential Skills Previous manufacturing experience. Strong attention to detail and interest in advancement. Experience in an industrial environment around large machines. Ability to solve practical problems using logic. Self-sufficient under general supervision. Exceptional attendance, reliability, and performance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfortable with getting dirty when needed.
Ability to count and stack tiles accurately. Capability to perform constant repetitive movements such as twisting, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Employees must wear face masks in certain areas due to silica dust and will be test-fitted for respirators. The facility includes kilns, making the environment hot at times. The dress code is practical, prioritizing safety and comfort. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
