Hiring for Clean Room Assemblers in Greenville, SC, pays up to $18.50/hr. Job Description The Clean Room Assembler builds mechanical and electrical components into larger assemblies within a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This role uses a variety of hand and power tools, follows detailed work instructions and blueprints, and ensures all products are assembled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

The position involves both independent work and collaboration with a team to identify improvements, troubleshoot issues, and take ownership of the assembly process and results. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electrical components as part of larger production assemblies using hand, pneumatic, and electric power tools. Identify and verify correct parts, and locate all components necessary for each assembly task.

Accurately assemble products in an efficient manner while meeting production goals and quality standards. Follow prescribed methods, procedures, and detailed work instructions throughout the assembly process. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete assemblies correctly. Use wrenches, torque guns, and other tools to assemble components using nuts and bolts and ensure proper torque and fastening.

Perform point-to-point wiring, crimp cords, and complete electrical assembly tasks as required. Maintain accurate local inventory of parts in the assigned work area and report any discrepancies or shortages. Enter data into computer systems and complete required forms to document work performed and product status. Adhere to all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures at all times. Perform inspection of assembled components, using tools such as microscopes when needed, to verify quality and compliance.

Participate in production assembly line activities, including assembling, packaging, and general labor tasks as needed. Work independently and as part of a team to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, suggest improvements, and take ownership of machine or process results. Handle and lift materials and assemblies weighing up to 50 pounds or more in a safe manner. Support cleanroom and manufacturing standards by maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills Experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints and related technical documentation. Proficiency using hand and power tools, including pneumatic and electric tools, wrenches, and torque guns. Comfort working with tape measures and other basic measurement tools to ensure precise assembly. Capability to perform point-to-point wiring, crimping cords, and basic electrical assembly tasks.

Ability to follow detailed work instructions, prescribed methods, and procedures accurately. Basic computer skills to enter data and complete electronic or paper forms. Ability to lift and safely handle items weighing 50 pounds or more. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.

Background in general labor, construction, or production assembly line work. Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring, and soldering practices. Experience with inspection activities, including using microscopes or similar equipment. Exposure to electronic assembly and building electronic components. Manufacturing industry experience, particularly in climate-controlled facilities. Ability to support packaging and final build processes as part of the production workflow.
