Job Title: Human Resources Specialist Job Description The onsite Human Resources Specialist supports the full employee lifecycle, combining recruiting and human resources operations to deliver an excellent candidate and employee experience. This role operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manages both hourly and salaried hiring, with a focus on high-volume light industrial recruitment and effective HR processes.

Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly, salaried, seasonal, and professional roles, from sourcing through offer acceptance. Partner closely with hiring managers to define staffing needs, develop job requirements, and coordinate interview schedules. Source, screen, and interview candidates while maintaining clear, timely communication throughout the hiring process. Extend offers and guide candidates through the acceptance and pre-employment process to ensure a smooth transition.

Manage relationships with staffing agencies to support temporary workforce needs and ensure quality and timely placements. Oversee onboarding activities, including new hire documentation, orientation coordination, and initial employee setup. Administer and process employee status changes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation. Provide support on HR policies and procedures, helping employees and managers understand and apply HR best practices.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining required HR documentation and records. Prepare HR reports and dashboards to track recruitment metrics, employee data, and other key HR indicators. Support employee engagement and retention initiatives, including performance management and recognition programs. Participate in exit interviews and related processes to capture feedback and support continuous improvement of HR practices.

Contribute to HR projects and process improvements to enhance the candidate and employee experience in a manufacturing environment. Essential Skills 3–5 years of human resources and/or recruiting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Experience recruiting and onboarding large numbers of light industrial roles, approximately 20–25 at a time. Strong knowledge of employment laws and human resources best practices.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Solid project management skills to drive recruiting and HR initiatives from planning through completion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience working with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Human resources experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees. Recruiting and recruitment management experience across seasonal and professional roles. Hands-on onboarding experience, including coordinating orientation and managing new hire documentation. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Experience in a distribution center environment may be considered. Ability to build strong partnerships with staffing agencies and external recruiting partners. Ability to maintain accurate HR records and produce clear, informative HR reports and dashboards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with employment regulations. Spanish bilingual skills are highly valued for supporting a diverse workforce.

Work Environment This role is primarily onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, working Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m and remote Thursday and Friday.
