Job Description: Maintenance Technician 1st and 2nd Shift Schedule Manufacturing Environment Pay Rate: $24 - $27/hour Direct Placement Opportunity Overtime Available Responsibilities Dismantle, move, install, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and ancillary operations. Examine machinery and mechanical equipment to identify causes of malfunctions and determine appropriate repair or maintenance actions.
Use hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments to diagnose issues and perform mechanical repairs and maintenance. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems. Install new equipment and systems, ensuring proper setup, alignment, and integration into existing operations. Repair and maintain current equipment and systems to minimize downtime and support consistent production output.
Ensure proper care, use, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and supplies to extend service life and maintain safety standards. Read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, blueprints, and schematics to carry out maintenance tasks accurately. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
