Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician | 1st shift | $30 - 35/hr Job Description This role supports industrial operations by troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining a wide range of instrumentation and electrical systems. The Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician works with process control equipment, electrical systems, and automation technologies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair instrumentation and electrical systems that support industrial processes. Calibrate and maintain process instrumentation, including transmitters, sensors, and control devices, to ensure accurate and reliable measurements. Support and maintain process control systems, including PLC-based control systems and associated hardware. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), PLCs, and related control equipment.
Interpret and work from technical drawings, electrical schematics, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instrumentation and electrical equipment to minimize downtime. Assist in the programming, configuration, and adjustment of control systems and automation equipment as needed.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and resolve instrumentation and electrical issues in a timely manner. Document maintenance activities, calibration records, and repairs in accordance with site procedures and industry standards. Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending enhancements to instrumentation, control systems, and electrical infrastructure. Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tuttle, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
