Interior Designer Opportunity: Dynamic Environment to Wear Multiple Hats! Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our boutique Architecture & Interior Design firm based in NYC. This role focuses on Workplace Design and Corporate Interior projects , providing an exciting opportunity to work on innovative and functional office spaces. You will collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality designs.
Responsibilities Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to create innovative and functional office spaces. Work on a variety of projects, including commercial spaces and landlord-related work. Space plan and develop material presentations. Create construction documents and work on FF&E for Workplace projects. Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal team members, clients, and external consultants. Essential Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design. 4-7 years of professional experience as an Interior Designer. Experience working on Workplace Design/Corporate Interior projects. Proficient in AutoCAD. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with different internal team members, clients, and external consultants.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with space planning. Ability to create 3D renderings. Skills in budgeting, scheduling, and client communication. Experience with drafting, design development, and schematic design. Proficiency in SketchUp. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
