IT Support Technician Overview We are seeking a highly experienced IT Support Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment experiencing increased demand for technology support services. This position will play a critical role in supporting end users, maintaining device functionality, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite end-user support for a large manufacturing facility.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, device, and connectivity issues. Manage and close support tickets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Support approximately 500 users and 200 devices in collaboration with a small technical support team. Configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices and peripheral equipment. Assist with printer setup, device troubleshooting, and workstation support.
Deliver excellent customer service while communicating effectively with users at all levels. Contribute to ongoing IT operations and support initiatives across the site. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT Support or Desktop Support role within a complex enterprise environment. Experience supporting a manufacturing, production, or large-scale operational environment preferred.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. Relevant industry certifications are a plus. Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems, and end-user applications. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Preferred Skills Experience supporting modern desktop operating systems. Knowledge of productivity and collaboration platforms.
Hardware deployment, configuration, and maintenance experience. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. They possess outstanding troubleshooting capabilities, take ownership of issues through resolution, and consistently provide exceptional support to end users.
Experience Level: Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Clinton, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
