Laboratory Technician Looking to Move from Production into a Laboratory Role? We're seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing, food production, quality, or packaging experience who are interested in building a career in a laboratory setting. Training is provided, and you'll gain hands-on experience performing testing that helps ensure product quality and safety.
What You'll Do Collect and prepare samples for laboratory testing Perform routine quality tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products Record and review test results following established procedures Communicate results with production and quality teams Assist with maintaining laboratory equipment Support daily laboratory operations and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Experience in manufacturing, food production, packaging, quality, or a related environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Comfortable working with data, documentation, and testing equipment Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Interest in learning laboratory techniques and quality systems Preferred Qualifications Previous quality, laboratory, or food manufacturing experience Coursework in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment Why Join Us?

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTAGE, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.26 - $28.96/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
