Job Title: Machine Builder Job Description Assemble custom automated equipment, fixtures, and machinery using blueprints and drawings. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and materials to ensure precise construction. Install and align machine frames, conveyors, guarding, tooling, and automation components effectively. Assemble and install components such as bearings, gearboxes, shafts, and pneumatic parts.
Provide assistance with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, regulators, and manifolds. Responsibilities Assemble custom automated equipment, fixtures, and machinery using blueprints and drawings. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and materials accurately. Install and align machine frames, conveyors, guarding, tooling, and automation components. Assemble and install components such as bearings, gearboxes, shafts, and pneumatic parts.
Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, regulators, and manifolds. Essential Skills 2+ years of machine building or mechanical assembly experience. Experience reading blueprints and mechanical drawings. Experience with automation equipment, robotics, conveyors, and industrial machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to use precision measuring tools and hand/power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechatronics Degree is a plus. Tooling or Tool and Die experience is a plus. Machining or Machinist experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a climate-controlled shop with hours from 5AM to 1:30PM or 6AM to 2:30PM. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of La Vergne, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $72800.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
