Job Title: Maintenance Helper Job Description We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Helper to support facility upkeep and general maintenance operations at our Wooster location. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, comfortable using hand and power tools, and willing to assist with a variety of maintenance, janitorial, and light repair tasks to keep the facility clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities Perform general maintenance tasks throughout the facility. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Paint offices, walls, and other facility areas as needed. Hang pictures, signage, bulletin boards, and fixtures. Replace light bulbs and assist with basic lighting maintenance. Complete janitorial duties including taking out trash and recycling, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning floors, and cleaning common areas, restrooms, and offices.
Assist maintenance team with minor repairs and facility projects. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Essential Skills Experience in repair, preventive maintenance, painting, janitorial duties, and general labor. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Work Environment The work environment is a clean, well-lit shop. It is not temperature controlled. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $39520.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
