Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift Job Description This position involves performing maintenance duties within a food manufacturing facility. Our facility is currently engaged in projects that focus on healthier options, contributing significantly to growth in sales. Responsibilities Troubleshoot mechanical issues with 3-phase motors, washers, and bearings. Perform preventative maintenance on food production machinery.

Install machinery such as transformers and conveyors. Rebuild and repair motors and facility equipment. Work with equipment using schematics. Gain experience in electrical systems (PLCs) with brands like Allen Bradley and Siemens. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in preventative maintenance. 2+ years of experience in mechanical troubleshooting. 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing. Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.

Work Environment Work in a GMP environment requiring beard nets, hair nets, safety glasses, and steel toe shoes. The position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, totaling 48-hour work weeks with built-in overtime. Pay is distributed bi-weekly. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $85000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. - Direct Hire - $30-$40 an hour - Bonus based of Performance - Paid Holidays – (7 days)… NY Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.
