Entry Level, Learn Maintenance! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The role involves performing maintenance tasks, creating preventative maintenance plans, and working with various equipment such as motors, gearboxes, and molds. The technician will utilize hand and power tools, read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot PLCs, and work with 480v and 3-phase systems.
Responsibilities Perform maintenance tasks in a manufacturing facility. Create and implement preventative maintenance plans. Change out motors, gearboxes, and molds as required. Utilize hand and power tools effectively. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Troubleshoot PLCs as needed. Work with 480v and 3-phase systems. Essential Skills Minimum of 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Mechanical troubleshooting experience. Ability to read blueprints. Experience in changing out motors, gearboxes, and molds. PLC troubleshooting and experience with 480v systems is a plus. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with injection mold machines is a plus. Possession of a journeyman card is beneficial. Why Work Here? Employees enjoy double time pay for hours worked over ten in a day, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays under specific conditions. After 30 days, employees can join the union, and benefits commence after 90 days. Training is available on multiple machines, and opportunities for advancement to supervisory roles exist. Forklift training is also provided. Work Environment Work in a large Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility with over 150 employees, featuring automated injection molding processes, assembly lines, and seating lines.
The facility operates three shifts: 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a, with the possibility of overtime. Employees may be moved shifts based on seniority. The work environment includes a 20-minute paid lunch and two 10-minute paid breaks, with all breaks taken on-site where vending services are available. A designated smoking area is provided for breaks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delphos, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
