Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently in a window extrusion manufacturing facility. You will focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial machinery and systems, using your electrical and mechanical maintenance expertise to minimize downtime and support continuous production.

Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation. Perform industrial maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment, including routine inspections and corrective repairs. Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including working with 480V power, AC/DC circuits, and three-phase motors. Maintain and repair mechanical systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, sprockets, pulleys, and belts.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to identify issues and plan repairs. Conduct PLC-related maintenance and basic troubleshooting to support automated equipment. Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions. Perform preventive maintenance to reduce unexpected equipment breakdowns and extend asset life. Collaborate with production and other maintenance team members to prioritize work and minimize downtime.

Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment while working on electrical and mechanical systems. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used in accordance with facility standards. Essential Skills Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum 2 years of electrical maintenance experience, including 480V systems, AC/DC theory, and three-phase motors.

Minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, sprockets, pulleys, and belts. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical equipment issues. Hands-on experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial setting. Ability to perform PLC maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

Comfort working with 480V electrical systems while following proper safety protocols. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting production equipment in a window extrusion or similar manufacturing facility. Ability to work effectively on both daylight and overnight 2-2-3 schedules, as needed. Strong attention to detail when diagnosing equipment issues and performing repairs. Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Multiple shift options are available, including a daylight shift from approximately 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., as well as 2-2-3 schedules running from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. The work involves regular interaction with industrial machinery, electrical systems up to 480V, mechanical components such as hydraulics and pneumatics, and PLC-controlled
