Maintenance Technician Location: SE Portland, OR + Travel Paying $32 / HR to $40 / HR Responsibilities Service, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial smokers and refrigeration units Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs Assist with equipment installation, setup, and startup Travel to customer sites nationwide to perform on‑site service (approximately 50% travel after training) Work independently in the field while maintaining communication with internal teams Support shop operations, including testing, repairs, and prep work, when not in the field Accurately document service work, findings, and repairs Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and company standards Represent Enviro‑Pak professionally and positively in customer‑facing environments Additional Skills & Qualifications EPA Universal Certification Previous experience servicing industrial smokers, ovens, or commercial refrigeration equipment Field service technician experience Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Refrigeration, HVAC, or electrical certifications or coursework Experience working in food processing or industrial manufacturing environments Basic computer skills for service documentation and reporting Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs Environment / Shift: 22,000 sq ft.
