Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Technician Job Description The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will be instrumental in writing, maintaining, and modifying programs, as well as assisting in the processes involved in running machines for fabricating parts. The role also includes supporting continuous improvement projects. This position requires experience with g-code programming, as it forms the foundation of all systems.
The technician will spend 80% of their time on the floor and 20% at the desk, working with brake presses, manual brake presses, robotics, and CNC equipment. This is a 2nd shift position, with initial training on the first shift for the first 3-6 months, followed by a transition to second shift hours from 2pm-10pm. Responsibilities Write, maintain, and modify programs for manufacturing processes. Assist in running machines for fabricating parts.
Support continuous improvement projects. Work with brake presses, manual brake presses, robotics, and CNC equipment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.77 - $34.81/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
