Job Title: Material Handling Supervisor Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Material Handling Supervisor to oversee our team of 22 direct reports, with 15 on the 1st shift and 7 on the 2nd shift. The primary focus will be on the 1st shift, with the support of a 2nd shift supervisor. The role involves implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and monitoring and analyzing production metrics to optimize performance.
Responsibilities Supervise and manage a team of 22 direct reports across two shifts. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures. Monitor and analyze production metrics to ensure optimal performance. Coordinate logistics, inventory processes, and materials management. Oversee ERP and warehouse management systems. Essential Skills Experience in production, logistics, and inventory management.
Proficiency in materials management, ERP, and warehouse management. Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled and located within a steel environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 4:30 AM to 2 PM.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of La Vergne, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $68000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
