Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Job Description The Mechanical Assembler operates and maintains production stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, and units in accordance with HVAC and chiller specifications. This role follows established manufacturing procedures to ensure precise assembly, consistent quality, and reliable system performance. Responsibilities Operate and maintain production stations for assembling parts.
Align and adjust fabricated parts and components. Follow established manufacturing procedures to ensure precise assembly. Ensure consistent quality and reliable system performance. Use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly equipment. Calibrate and test parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Learn brazing techniques for welding copper mechanical parts.
Essential Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing assembly equipment. 3+ years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with calibration and testing parts. Ability to meet product specifications and quality standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous brazing/welding experience is a bonus. Receive a yearly safety boot allowance and work uniform. Work Environment Work in a facility with a shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
