Job Title: Medical Device Assembler Job Description This role focuses on the precise assembly of cardiovascular medical devices and related components in a cleanroom production environment. You will perform detailed mechanical and electronic assembly tasks using hand tools, follow assembly drawings and instructions, and ensure all work meets strict quality and documentation standards for medical equipment.
Responsibilities Perform electronic and mechanical assembly of cardiovascular medical devices, including plastic valves, stents, disposables, and assemblies used in heart pumping machines. Use a variety of small hand tools to complete fine, detailed assembly work with a high level of accuracy. Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production documentation to build components and products to specification.
Work efficiently on an assembly line to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards. Operate within a cleanroom environment, following all cleanliness and contamination control procedures. Read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams to ensure correct assembly and component placement. Sign off on travelers and other production documents to accurately record work performed and ensure traceability.
Inspect assembled components for defects or nonconformities and report issues to appropriate personnel. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth production flow and resolve assembly issues. Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines related to medical device manufacturing. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly. Proven experience working in a cleanroom production environment.
Strong mechanical assembly skills, including experience on an assembly line. Ability to use small hand tools safely and effectively for detailed assembly work. Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, diagrams, and written instructions. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards. Comfort with production documentation, including signing off on travelers or similar records.
Ability to work in a structured, process-driven manufacturing setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience assembling medical devices or other highly regulated products. Familiarity with production and manufacturing workflows. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to work in a temp-to-hire arrangement with the opportunity for a pay increase upon conversion to permanent status.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allen, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
