Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Job Description The Mechanical Assembler operates and maintains production stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, and units in accordance with HVAC and chiller specifications. This role follows established manufacturing procedures to ensure precise assembly, consistent quality, and reliable system performance. Responsibilities Operate and maintain production stations to assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and units for HVAC and chiller systems.

Assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts and components to meet precise tolerances and product specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to build and complete units according to established procedures. Interpret and follow schematics, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation to ensure accurate assembly. Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to verify that all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.

Perform brazing on copper mechanical parts to weld joints and ensure secure, leak-free connections as required. Inspect assembled units for quality, identifying and correcting defects or misalignments before final release. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area to support safe and efficient production. Collaborate with team members and leads to meet production goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Participate in training, including potential travel for advanced training, to develop skills and prepare for future leadership opportunities. Essential Skills At least 3+ years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical assembly skills with the ability to assemble, align, and adjust parts and components accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing assembly line equipment.

Ability to read and follow schematics and manufacturing documentation. Experience testing and calibrating parts and mechanisms to ensure components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. Willingness to learn and apply brazing techniques to weld joints of copper mechanical parts. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent quality and reliable system performance.

Ability to work a structured shift schedule and meet production deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous brazing or welding experience is a plus. Experience working with HVAC or chiller systems is beneficial. Comfort working on an assembly line in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a strong, family-oriented team. Interest in career growth, including potential advancement into lead or supervisory roles.
